Cleaning machine oil mist collector working principle

Negative pressure suction and primary interception: The equipment forms negative pressure at the air inlet through the built-in fan to suck in the oily mist air generated by the machine tool or cleaning equipment operation. First, the airflow will pass through a rotary spiral filter or coarse filter, using centrifugal force and mechanical collision to intercept large oil droplets, metal debris and other solid particles in the air, and complete the preliminary liquid phase capture, which can effectively reduce the burden of subsequent precision filter elements

Multi-stage filtration and efficient separation: The primary intercepted airflow enters the core filtration stage, usually using multi-stage filtration technology:

Mechanical collision and centrifugal separation: The airflow passes through multiple layers of high-efficiency filter material, and the fine oil mist particles collide and condense into larger droplets in the high-speed airflow, or are separated under the action of centrifugal force

Electrostatic adsorption (some devices): Some advanced equipment uses electrostatic technology. The oil mist air passes through the high-pressure ionization zone, imposing a positive charge on micron-scale (0.3-5μm) oil mist particles, which are subsequently adsorbed by an electric field collector (cathode plate) to achieve efficient separation of aerosols

This method is highly efficient in removing fine particles, for example, there are data showing that the removal efficiency of PM2.5 particles can reach 94.7%

Oil recovery and clean discharge: The intercepted and condensed oil droplets will flow back along the collection tank or return device to achieve the recycling and reuse of the oil, so as to achieve the purpose of "turning waste into treasure". After multi-stage purification, the clean air is finally discharged through the fan, which can be discharged back into the workshop (to save heating and cooling energy) or discharged outdoors

Intelligent maintenance tips (some high-end models): Some new oil mist collectors are equipped with an operating status indication system, such as through the lifting and lowering of the float to visually display the operating status of the equipment and the degree of filter clogging, when the suction power drops to a certain degree (such as 70%), the float sinks, prompting the operator to clean or replace the filter cotton, reducing maintenance costs.
